The update is targeted at those using the Manjaro Linux 15.12 (Capella) OS and it includes an important update to the OpenSSL libraries, on which numerous packages depend. Therefore, it is imperative that you update your Manjaro installation as soon as possible (see below for details).

Besides adding the important OpenSSL update, the new update pack for Manjaro Linux 15.12 upgrades most of the supported kernels (see below a list of supported Linux kernel packages), along with the Wine, Chromium, GTK2, cryptsetup, and the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.

"We are happy to announce our twelfth update of Manjaro 15.12 (Capella)," reads the announcement. "It is always good to check for updated packages, even we don’t notify you about them. As usual, people using our testing branch will help us to get snaps over to our branch almost smoothly."

All Manjaro Linux 15.12 users need to update immediately

As expected, the Manjaro Linux 15.12 (Capella) software repositories have been synchronized with the upstream ones of the well-known Arch Linux operating system as of March 10, 2016. Currently supported kernels include Linux 3.10.100 LTS, Linux 3.12.56 LTS, Linux 3.13.11.35, Linux 3.14.64 LTS, Linux 3.16.7.25, Linux 3.18.28 LTS, Linux 3.19.8.15, Linux 4.1.19 LTS, Linux 4.2.8.4, Linux 4.3.6 EOL, Linux 4.4.5, and Linux 4.5 RC7.

All users of the Manjaro Linux 15.12 operating system, no matter the flavor used (Xfce, KDE, GNOME, Deepin, Cinnamon, LXQt, etc.), need to update their systems as soon as possible. The twelfth update pack, Manjaro Update 2016-03-11 (stable), is now live and all you have to do to keep your system up-to-date is to run the default graphical package manager and apply it. Reboot your system after the update is complete!
